Centre Stage Publishing was created in 2003 by Bjorn Bruncke to publish ‘Pre-21st Century Makers Shakers Centre Stage Takers’, which is not just a book; it is a cultural archive.
Spanning twelve thematic volumes, each available individually below, ‘Pre-21st Century Makers Shakers Centre Stage Takers’ features a total of 1,001 curated biographies of conceivably our most ‘popularly’ noteworthy and/or influential personalities, one page each, each headed by a grey-scale portrait. Reader-friendly, it is written in a digestible, abridged style reminiscent of Reader’s Digest, though academically rigorous when called for. Details and portraits are sourced mainly from Wikimedia/Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia, the work ideal for readers of history, educators, cultural institutions, and anyone seeking a panoramic view of Western legacy.
